Two years ago, we’ve published an article about Alexander Stoeckel, partner at the venture capital company b-to-v, and his view on business angels and other financing options. He has recently been interviewed by Cédric Bollag from GlobalTechBox.com. Stoeckel explains 8 significant aspects of startups and talks about more essential topics for both entrepreneurs and investors.
Before he started his MBA studies at the University of Oxford he has never heard of „venture capital“ but was immediately stoked. He founded his own startup consultancy and was then contacted and recruited by b-to-v. Today, he is responsible for the business angel network at b-to-v with about 220 members.
b-to-v was founded back in 2000 by the University of St.Gallen (HSG) alumni who saw the potential behind connecting talented students with successful entrepreneurs and businessmen. Seventeen years later, b-to-v is developing investment solutions for private, corporate and institutional investors, with about 3.000 investment opportunities per year!
One week ago, GlobalTechBox.com visited Alexander Stoeckel at the b-to-v office in St. Gallen. Watch the interview and get to know eight significant aspects of the startups that b-to-v evaluates and discover more interesting topics for both entrepreneurs and investors!
Stoeckel also holds venturelab acceleration workshops for startups at the ETH Zurich. Take the chance and register for one of them HERE.
